Small Downtown Apartment + College Students= Thrifty Fun Furniture and decorations on a budget!

When I got my own place I had no furniture.  I decided to go around to garage sales, dumpsters, and antique stores.  Here are some of my finds and creations part 1.....more to follow tomorrow because I have so much now!

I found this table by a dumpster in the apartment complexes.  I painted it red which goes with my black red and white living room theme.  On the table is my eiffel tower clock and candles given to me by my friend Renee and a picture of my dad and I in a matching frame.

My fiance thought of this idea to cover our horrible awkward heater. I was always running into it and it looked really ugly so we found this fireplace screen at Target on sale for $8.00!

This painting is from K Mart and I got it for $6:00 on clearance! I could not believe this was such a good buy!

Another one of my paintings that shows my love of Paris!  My granparents bought this for me at an antique shop and I absolutely love it!

My coffee table that I painted.  I wish I would have thought to take a before picture, but it was all hard wood and I sanded it down, painted it red and stenciled the top!
