Geek Chic

Here is a complete look at my outdoor look complete with coffee mug and purse!

Nerd chic, geek chic whatever you call it I can comfortably say that I am it! Waking up at 8am every morning and then staying on campus all day is not as glamorous as it may sound and even though I like to look nice and as professional as possible when I teach sometimes I just want to be comfortable and warm. I decided last week that I was going to wear a dress or skirt everyday until I wore all of them, which might take awhile. Today was cold so I chose comfort over looks. Here is my version of geek chic at its best!

I love cardigans and dresses and in Michigan you really can't ever go wrong with layering!

 Outfit details:

• Dress, tights, leg warmers, belt, and boots all from Target. Not all bought at the same time but accumulated over time, as you can see I love Target!
• Cardigan thrifted a long time ago
• Hair pulled half up with a clip

One of my tricks for wearing a dress in the winter is layering leg warmers and tall socks over tights and leggings, it adds an extra layer and looks pretty cute too!
