So this is my outfit from yesterday inside hiding from all the snow falling. I wanted to be as warm as possible so with my layered tights I paired a sweater/skirt combo. I've been inspired lately by the 50s when ladies would wear tailored high-waited skirts over sweaters and cardigans, but of course I had to put my own spin on the whole idea.
Outfit Details:
- Sweater: J.Crew from a couple years ago. I got this for Christmas from my sister-in-law and I absolutely love it! It doesn't stretch out like so many other sweaters I own and it is soft and not too bulky. It really is an ideal winter sweater.
- Skirt and necklaces: Forever 21
- Tights and boots: Target
- Purse: Emma's Boutique (Mount Pleasant) More on this later, it's new and super cool!
